buns in the oven

Speaking of buns in the oven, I took my partner along to a mystery date last Saturday. I first heard of the breadmaking course at the Abbotsford Convent Bakery via Hollabee's blog and considering spontaneous weekend activities may become a soon distant memory I thought I would make the most of our couple time together.

Poor Franjo had no idea what I had planned, his guesses ranged from couple counselling to sky diving and in the end he was pretty happy with the days events. Now I'm onto thinking about our next mystery date.

Thank you so much for all the sweet comments with my baby news, it's all very exciting and a little scary at the same time. I'm glad we're given nine months to adjust and prepare for our little arrival.

YIKES! I'm always last to get the news! Hearty congratulations to you both. I imagine a date with a parachute would be the very last thing on your mind, oh, for the next twenty years...

Hee hee... I have to chuckle that he guessed you were taking him to couples counseliing! I bet he was relieved when you ended up at the convent.

Now tell me it wasn't a coincidence that you organised this buns in oven activity knowing you were baking something in your own oven!?!

you have a great attitude about the 9 month long baking. i have always felt that pregnancy is 1 month too long!
enjoy these months- and make sure you pamper yourself plenty with lots of sleep and lots of icecream!
again, congrats to you!!!
