the plot thickens

Just when I was thinking to myself who could I contact that maybe interested in having a look at the Miss Australia photo collection I have, Violet & Rose kindly pointed out to me that there is an exhibition currently running at the Melbourne Museum - Miss Australia: A Nation's Quest. Well, I never... what are the chances of that! I honestly had no idea. I can't wait to go and have a look at the exhibition.

If you are playing 'this is...' you will love our challenge for this week. It may require some homework for some but the good kind of homework not the my-brain-hurts kind of homework! Have fun!!

You will LOVE the exhibition at the Museum! BUT sadly the sign said NO PHOTOS.. so I sailed through the beaded curtain and admired the beautiful gowns and kept my camera in my bag. Come and visit me if you go! I'm only around the corner with a tumbler of tea!

another great place to find anything out about miss australia is the state library. check out: slv.vic.gov.au and click on "catalogues & databases" - do a search on their pictures catalogue and it comes up with a range of different images that you can scan through.
The SLV will be happy to chat to you about your collection (I work there...)
