When a friend joined an adult tap dancing class last year I had to give her the photographic evidence that I did tap dancing dressed like a Licorice Allsort. I can't understand why she would never had believed me : )
When the photo was taken I was on my way to the Townsville Civic Theatre for my yearly Christmas dancing spectacular, the year before I was a seaweed.

Oh great look, I actually have a photo of me dressed in a candy cane - will have to pop that one up one of these days (must have been the QLD's teachers idea of torcher in the heat - I grew up in Mackay)
Did this discourage your friend from taking up tap?
I'm sorry I made a spelling mistake and panicked....I meant to say How Delicious!
You can almost see you tapping! I love the costume.
What a cool costume!!!! LOL How old were you here? Great smile! :)
Excellent Angela. And so tallented. I love the licorice allsort costume and what a great pair of legs!
Excellent pic !
I want to see the seaweed pic though.
( I just joined your flickr group too ;)
Aha, now the hints from yesterday make sense! This is fantastic! Love the pose, and your face!!! Gorgeous.
I have pulled out a really early one this week for me...
Looking forward to next week, thanks again for starting this!

That. Is priceless.
Great Picture!!! You look just too cute! I was way out with the barber shop idea I got from your clue now wasn't I.
We use to do the same thing for ballet. I can remember dressing up as a book one year. I'll have to find the pics... Seaweed??? Is there any photographic evidence of that year?

Wow, do you still have those pins?? When my eldest was in Kindergarten her year did the same thing, only they had licorice boxes on their heads?? So funny, as every arm action had the boxes go up over their eyes & children were falling over everywhere. Bless those little 5y.o. they should have just dressed as dominoes. Your costume was a little more high end, plus you have a height advantage. Love Posie
