trend-spotting

I've noticed of late that the humble donkey is making a comeback. I'm inclined to think that the donkey is becoming the new owl in the design world, if ya know what I mean!

It's true! I've been trying to make one - well I tried to make a horse and it looks like a donkey in progress instead of a horse.

Well donkeys are quite the thing here in the US after the election but I don't think that's it. ;-)

The other day I finished a pony and a rabbit brooch, saw them sitting together and decided to put the ears on the pony..voila-a donkey! Funny how new ideas are formed.

Yay for the donkey! I found out that in "the UK's leading donkey trust, the Donkey Sanctuary, pulls in more than £14m a year in donations". Rich donkeys! :)
