how odd
Yesterday I sprained my neck, which is odd as I was asleep at the time. And not just any old sprain, it was a rating of 7 by the osteopath with 10 being the worst. After some big spine and neck readjustments I walked out of his office feeling like I was walking all wonky and in the wrong direction but then it occurred to me maybe I was walking wonky in the wrong direction before and now I'm walking straight because I'm all aligned and good!
So today the heat bag and a packet of voltaren have become my best friends, I've been warned it's going to be a long recovery which well frankly is a bit of a pain in the neck!
I must apologies to all our new comers to 'This Is' who have asked to join our ever growing blog roll list. I'm still to add some new comers from weeks ago and I promise I will have the blog roll updated tomorrow as well as an invite from one of our players to suggest our theme for this week!
I'm looking forward to posting a little more regularly again too!

Sorry to hear about your neck! I find that warm tea with honey helps...and arnica massage oil.. and of course lots of rest. My upper back went nutso a couple of weeks ago so I speak from experience ;O).
Sorry to hear about your neck as well. Hope you have a speedy recovery!
Oh no! I hope you feel better soon! Keep up with the ice pack and the voltaren. You must be feeling so frustrated.
A sprained neck sounds pretty miserable ... hope you recover really quickly.

OUCH!
Hope your neck gets better sooner than later.
REST! REST!REST!
Warm tea with honey and a shot of rum or rye.
The best remedy for that type of injury.
oh dear bejeezus your poor thing. I hope it's the second option and that you are walking straight! I'm having so much fun playing 'this is' I'm a newcomer too but I know how crazy life can be so don't stress about adding me to the list, just whenever. Just wondering if there is a list every week of who has actually played that week?
Take Care of that neck and I hope you have a speedy recovery!
Oh dear, I hope you are feeling a bit better soon. I just wanted to let you know I am really enjoying playing in your This is.. and found your trade secret's really great.
How strange that you can sprain your neck while sleeping! Will be sending you heaps of healing thoughts and hope that your recovery is speedy.
ooh sorry to hear about your neck! I broke a couple of bones in mine early last year and spent alot of time lying on the floor so I can sympathise. If you start getting spasms I honestly recommend a chiro or manipulative physio (the other side of me started over compensating and spasming,as way of dealing with the injury and despite trying heat packs and such nothing worked except manipulation).
Get well soon xx
Ouch!!!
ice packs/hot water bottles are fabulous when that happens, aren't they?
Hope you're feeling 100% soon!
Hey hope things get back to normal, INFACT I'M SURE THEY WILL : )
