once you know... you can't go back

Once you know... you can't go back, started for me when my partner showed me the 'correct' way to hang shirts on the line. It then followed by reading in a Donna Hay magazine the 'correct' way of cutting an onion. Once I learn these little things I find it so hard to go back to doing it the 'wrong' way. Damn it!

So, if you are like me then I would highly suggest you not look at this!

I always fold mine like that - don't you? and then i tie a ribbon around them and put a post it on them to tell me which day they are for. You're so disorganised, angela, honestly....!

I'm still reeling from the bits about how to fold a pantie with a back (is there any other type?!) and what to do if the pantie is wider than then crotch (yeah, like about 10 times). I must be wearing some serious Nanna pants - I'm going to have to do about 48 folds when I go and organise my undie drawer this evening. I wish I hadn't clicked on the link! But then again ... we were warned ...

I used to fold mine like that before I got married and had a baby (and a life!) Now they all get flung into the 'undies drawer.' Maybe I should look into being more serious with my folding........but to be honest the clothes are lucky to make it to the wardrobe these days!

Thanks for the link. I just watched that and can't stop laughing! Personally, I think my method of throwing them in a draw and then getting on with far more enjoyable things is better.

I feel this way whenever I watch Martha Stewart! Except I did learn how to fold a fitted sheet on her show and before that I really had a hatred of those buggers.

hoot!

I am still giggling.....

And.... a "panty with a back"? Does she mean those obnoxious undies with "I'm a dirty slapper" printed on the arse? Eeewwwww........

oh brother. My organizational problems are much more serious than my panty drawer. I really DO want to know what the correct way to hang a shirt is though...where is THAT link! :D

In a word: WOW. I kinda wish I had the discipline for that--but then again, I'd rather have a cup of tea instead. I don't think that lady would ever be a friend of mine.

I already hang all my clothes in the same direction! Though I do argue this is just as much logic as ACD! Of course I had to go have a look. Aye aye Aye. I will just have to block this from my mind!
As for hanging a shirt? This is a subject of contention in this house. Please please please set the record straight.

Oh my god- Don't show my mother this! Well actually she may be behind it already! She started a business she called 'Get Sorted' She endeavored to get my kids and I sorted but failed miserably! Mind you I am very particular about how I hang the washing but only because a few seconds getting it right on the line means very little or no need to iron. pedanticness born from laziness!

Ok..up with the goodies - the RIGHT way to hang a shirt on a clothesline. I am actually one of those rare birds in the US who actually has a clothesline, and I learned my way from my Nana mucho years ago. I clip on the bottom edge of the side seam folds and yes, they all face the same way.

As far as panties being folded, yes yea mine are done that way and in a pull out drawer, they don't get yanked out. If you grow up with the word "panties", knicker sounds very hard. But I occasionally use that word for dh's bottom bits. ;-)
