del kathryn barton

Del Kathryn Barton, an Aussie artist who grew up on an alpaca farm outside of Sydney. Her work is beautiful.

And while on the subject of birds have a peep over at weebirdy.com to read her latest post on crafty birdies!

Wow, it's like birds meet oriental & vintage inspriation all in one. Very clever lady. Just read on another blog (your comment) that your mother used sticky tape as a guide to cutting fringes, OMG, what were they thinking?? My mother would cut under the tape, so she'd pull hair out during tape removal, eeooww. I have never attempted to trim my children's hair, it's $5.95 at a salon for goodness sakes, even with 4 children, i happily pay the pros, every 2 months since they are about 10 months old. Love Posie

I am a huge fan of Del Kathry Barton. I love her unique style and her Egon Schiele type figures. Beautiful stuff!
