flashback friday

This photo was taken on my 9th birthday, Mum could always arrange a great children's party. To this day I believe she was born to be a party planner. I'm the one in the front row, second from the right.

Happy Flashback Friday!

It looks you're all having such a great time. Happy days. Look at all those smiles. I love the three matching skirts...

Second from the right?? Screaming the loudest.
Well it is your party and you'll "scream" if you want to....
Looks like you had a great day.
Happy Flashback Friday.

This pic also made me think of some cute ads made by NZ's L&P cola company, capturing the essence of summer in the 70s - check them out here:

Love the pic. All of the girls outfits are just gorgeous. Everyone looks to be having a great time at your party. Like you said, your mum sure does look like she was born for that kinda thing.

See the good old days when you invited the class & everyone you knew!! I throw those parties for our 4 children, people gasp & say "really, the whole class??" Of course, why not, home parties with home baking!! Love Posie

I agree with Posie - invite the class and the neighborhood - I cant wait for Miss A to be old enough for class parties - bring on Kinder I say!

Sorry gals, I'm actually the one with my brother lumbering over my shoulders. I think I confused everyone with my description of which one was me. I was smiling from the inside!
